Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District
The Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District (K-12) serves approximately 3,900 students.
The residents of Wilbraham and Hampden voted in 1994 to unite their school systems to form the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District, governed by a charter outlining their obligations and responsibilities. The School Committee consists of seven elected members, which have oversight of eight schools and the central administration connected to the high school.
Within the past five years considerable renovation was accomplished at all the schools, creating modern learning spaces and providing technology. A facility study is being conducted for Minnechaug Regional High School which is expected to result in renovation or construction in the next several years.
