Subject: Traffic Stop – Arrest – Trafficking Cocaine January 23, 2009 8:36 PM
On Friday, January 23, 2009 at 8:36 PM Officer Brewer stopped a motor vehicle on Boston Road at Brainard Road that had nearly collided with his cruiser on Boston Road ¼ Mile west of Brainard Road.
Investigation of the traffic incident led to the discovery of cocaine within the vehicle. The contraband was found to be in the control of a passenger.
Arrested: NORMAND, Anthony P, Age 21

Offenses: Possession to Distribute Class B Crack Cocaine C 94C s32A.
Trafficking Controlled Substances Crack Cocaine C 94C s32E.
Possession Class B C 94C s34.
Pending arraignment at Palmer District Court, the subject is being held without bail on the above charges and four Springfield District Court default warrants.
