Due to the extensive amount of work required on Main Street, expected settlement resulting from the sewer project, and costs, final pavement will not be completed till next summer. Additional drainage, berm work, milling and sidewalk reconstruction still need to be completed prior to any finish pavement being placed.
The portion of Main Street in the Center of Town that has not received a course of asphalt this summer, will be paved next year (2010), along with the finish course of asphalt on the portions of Main Street that received a base course this Summer.
We make every attempt to minimize disruption in traffic and planned most of the work to be performed prior to school being in session.
