Mission Statement
  
The Wilbraham Public Library , located at 25 Crane Park Drive in the village center, is at the hub of community life. The mission of the library is to provide services and programs to educate, entertain, and enlighten its patrons by providing access to a broad selection of quality resources, offering a range of library programs, and providing trained staff to assist library patrons.

The library has a collection of over 70,000 items including books, videos, CDs, audio books, magazines and newspapers, CD-ROMs, puppets, and multimedia kits. Interlibrary loan is available through C/WMARS, a library consortium of over 100 libraries in western and central Massachusetts. Electronic resources include access to the Internet, on-line catolog, reference databases, and CD-ROMs, as well as word-processing and other software applications on public computers.

The library offers a variety of programming to meet the needs and interests of its patrons. These include pre-school story time, children's performers, summer reading activities, author readings, book discussion groups, informational programs, art exhibits, and Internet training. In addition, meeting room facilities are available for community use.

The library has two support groups that help enhance library services. TheThe Friends of the Wilbraham Library Inc.., comprised of over 300 members, supports library programs and other activities through membership fees, book sales, and other fundraising activities. The The Wilbraham Memorial -Endowment Fund, Inc. provides supplemental funding to purchase special books and accessories for the library.
