WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR:
Sort and shelve library materials, maintain order of items on shelves, process and repair
materials, assist public with library computers and equipment, some clerical duties as
assigned; $8.20 per hour; 7-12 hours per week, includes evening and Saturday hours, no
benefits; must be able to organize materials by both number and alphabet, lift and carry
books and other library materials, walk and climb, must be attentive to details, must be
responsible, reliable and able to work independently, computer literacy preferred;

May be assigned to all Public Works Divisions including highway, waste water, and
water departments as well as the waste disposal center. Operates 26,000 GVW or greater
trucks, backhoe, front-end loader, jet vacuum, sweeper, roller, street paver, bucket loader,
snow plow, and other equipment in digging, hauling, loading, moving, filling
cleaning/removing of earth and other materials; backfilling when laying pipe, patch
surface and oil roads, build catch basins, replace signs and guard rails, paint cross walks,
minor equipment repair and maintenance.
Must have valid Massachusetts CDL Class B Driver's License and Hoisting License,
experience/skill in the operation of heavy motor equipment under all weather conditions;
ability to understand and follow oral & written instructions, interpret charts/diagrams,
basic arithmetic, knowledge of traffic and safety rules; ability to repair & adjust heavy
equipment, ability to lift up to 60 lbs., stand for long periods of time; sit/drive for long
periods of time;
Position offers pay range from $15.21/hr to $20.44, 40 hours per week, union position,
